Local News

A daughter was born to Mr. and Mrs. Donald Kaiser at the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital July 22.

A daughter was born to Mr. and Mrs. Robert Baum at the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital July 23.

Robert Denny and Miss Ruth Johnson of Superior visited the former’s aunt, Mrs. Emma Zillmer, Monday and Tuesday.

Mr. and Mrs. Lester Wagner and children of Brookfield spent the week-end with Mrs. Wagner’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. O. J. Dix.

Mr. and Mrs. Ted Hegg of Milwaukee called on Mrs. C. P. Tessmer and Herman Tessmer. They were on their way to Phillips to visit their mother.

Mrs. William Young and children, Louis and Carol, and Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Baumgartner and children visited with relatives in Milwaukee last week.

Mr. and Mrs. George Schwantes of Spencer and Mrs. Vere Melin of Cicero, Ill., visited with Mrs. Fred Rienow and at the J. E. Tesmer home Monday.

Mr. and Mrs. Don Zehner and children, Michael, Robert and Connie, of Westfield, visited at the J. E. Tesmer home and with Mrs. Fred Rienow Sunday.

Guests over the week-end at the home of Mrs. Emma Zillmer were Mr. and Mrs. Marlyn Olson and children, Emmy and Peter, of Appleton, Mrs. Ruth Blair and son, Johny, and Robert Fritz of Neenah.

Mrs. E. J. Schmidt and daughter, Karen, of Texas are visiting at the home of the former’s mother, Mrs. William Roth of Colby and with the Roland Roth and Walter Danielson families at Abbotsford, Wis.

Mrs. Earl Redlin is spending the week at Great Lakes, Ill., as a guest of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene W. Oaks. Mrs. Oaks spent the previous week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Redlin.

Mr. and Mrs. A. G. Laabs attended the Braves-New York baseball game at Milwaukee last Thursday, July 19th, and visited friends at Sheboygan Falls, Manitowoc, Peshtigo and Marinette.
