Emberson, Naomi (Marriage - 19 June 1948)

Saturday, June 19, (1948), was the date of the marriage of Miss Naomi Emberson, daughter of Mrs. Dena Emberson of Greenwood, to David M. Danielson, son of Mrs. Mary Danielson of Loyal. The double ring ceremony took place in the Lutheran parsonage in Greenwood, at 2:30 p.m. in the presence of the attendants, with the Rev. M. K. Aaberg officiating.

The bride wore an afternoon dress of pink mesh and a corsage of roses and sweet peas. The attendants were Mr. and Mrs. Peter Danielson, brother and sister-in-law of the groom, from Marengo, Ill. Mrs. Danielson wore an afternoon dress of aqua mesh, patterned after that of the bride, and wore a similar corsage.

A buffet supper was served at the home of the bride’s mother at 4:30 p.m. after which the young couple left for a wedding trip in northern Wisconsin.

The bride is a graduate of the Eau Claire State Teachers’ College, and at one time taught at Neillsville and for the last 4 years at Eau Claire. Her husband attended the University of Wisconsin and is now farming near Loyal.

Guests from out of town included Miss Hazel Danielson, a cousin of the groom, from Chicago; and Mrs. Christ Stenawold, his sister, from Clear Lake.
