Hederer, Barbara Ann (Marriage - 1 Sept. 1956)

Miss Barbara Ann Hederer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wenzel Hederer of Colby, became the bride of Henry Arthur Carr, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Carr of Colby, Route 2, at a ceremony performed in St. Mary’s Catholic church in Colby Saturday afternoon Sept. 1, at 2:00 o’clock, Rev. John B. Pinion officiating.

The bride was attired in a gold colored princess style dress with brown accessories and a corsage of pink and white carnations.

Mrs. Delores Schultz of Unity, a friend of the bride, was matron of honor. She wore a turquoise knit dress with winter white accessories and a corsage of white carnations.

The groom was attended by Donald Hederer of Park Falls, brother of the bride.

The mother of the bride wore a dress of navy blue and white with accessories of navy and a corsage of red carnations and white mums. The mother of the groom wore a gray suit with black accessories and a corsage of red carnations and white mums.

A reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents, the home being decorated with white wedding bells for the occasion.

After a wedding trip to Northern Wisconsin, the couple will make their home in Abbotsford, Wis. The groom is employed by the Thompson Abbott Construction Co.
