Edwin R. Stauske, 94, of Abbotsford, Wisconsin died Saturday, August 30, 2008 at the InnCare of Abbotsford, Wis.

Friends may call on Wednesday September 3, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. at Bethlehem Lutheran Church Milan.

Services will be held Wednesday, September 3, at 12:00 p.m. (noon) at Bethlehem Lutheran Church Milan. Rev Matthew Christians will preside. Burial will be in Athens Lutheran Cemetery.

Edwin was born on November 15, 1913, to Herman and Emma (Paersch) Stauske.

He married Magdalena Hargraves at Trinity Lutheran Church in Athens on June 14, 1941.

Edwin was a dairy farmer, block layer, grader operator, construction worker and saw mill worker. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and wood working.

He was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Milan.

Edwin is survived by three sons, Leonard (Louetta Lavin) Stauske, Athens, Walter Stauske, Abbotsford, and Bernard Stauske, Colby; a daughter Carol Carl, Rib Mountain; nine grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Magdalena on October 11, 2007, a bother Hubert Stauske and a sister, Loretta Mieding.

Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home Abbotsford is assisting the family with arrangements.
