Miss Gloria Lynn Underhill, daughter of Leonard Underhill of Highland City, Fla., and Eugene Bardell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Bardell of Highland City, formerly of Neillsville (Clark Co., Wis.), were married on June 30, 1947 at the home of the bride’s grandmother, Mrs. C. H. Young, in Highland City. The service was read by the Rev. J. M. Parish, pastor, at 8 p.m.

The bride was attended by her sister, Miss Faye Underhill. Dick Cratsenberg of Lakeland, Fla., was best man.

The bride is a graduate of the Highland City High School. The groom is a graduate of the Loyal High School. He spent a year and a half in the navy, one year being overseas in Africa and Germany. He is now attending Lakeland Business Institute.

The couple will remain in Lakeland.
