Marg, Angelyn L. (14 JUN 1947)

On Saturday, June 14, 1947, at a 2:30 service at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Neillsville (Clark Co., Wis.), Miss Angelyn Louise Marg, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Marg, Neillsville, route 3, became the bride of Everett Herbert Dux, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Dux of Neillsville. The Rev. William Lauterbach of the Zion Lutheran Church, Granton, read the double ring ceremony. Church decorations included baskets of cut flowers with pink, blue and white ribbons.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. The gown she chose was of white satin made in princess style. The floor length illusion veil was held by a beaded headdress, and red roses and lilies of the valley made up her bouquet.

Miss Marion Marg, the bride’s sister, and Miss Marie Dux, the groom’s sister, were attendants. The groom was attended by Melvin Marg, best man, and Kenneth Karnitz, groomsmen. The ushers were Donald and Irvin Marg. A cousin of the bride, Nola Jean Rhodes of Marshfield, preceded the bride to the altar as flower girl.

About 100 guests were in attendance at the wedding reception at the home of the bride’s parents. The house was decorated in pink, blue and white ribbons.

Mr. and Mrs. Dux left immediately after a wedding dance at the Armory for a wedding trip to southern Wisconsin. They will make their home in an apartment at the home of the bride’s parents, route 3, Neillsville.

The bride was graduated from the Neillsville High School with the class of 1947 and the groom completed his high school work in Neillsville with the class of 1944.

Out of town guests who were here to attend the wedding were: Elaine VonHader, Henry Vieth, Mr. and Mrs. Vern VonHaden and family, all of Tomah; Mr. and Mrs. Peter Meeks and James, Gary, Indiana; Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Foemmel and Sandra, and Allen Kindt of Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Roy Utech, William Marg and Lavern, Watertown; Mr. and Mrs. Victor Rhodes and family of Marshfield.
