Rose, Ina May (28 NOV 1871 - 27 JAN 1947)

Mrs. George Rose passed away Monday, Jan. 27, 1947, at her home in Granton (Clark Co., Wis.) following an illness of several months. Funeral services will be held Friday from the Gilbertson Funeral Home at 2 o’clock, with the Rev. Floyd A. Fahlgren, pastor of the Methodist Church, officiating.

Ina May Grove was born on a farm near Plymouth, Sheboygan Co., the daughter of John and Jane Grove. She grew to womanhood here; and on June 27, 1900, was united in marriage to George J. Rose of Glen Beulah.

They made their home in Plymouth until 1907, when they came to Granton, where they resided since.

Mr. Rose was engaged in the livery business for a few years, then moved onto a farm on the east side of the village, where they lived until the spring of 1946. They then disposed of their farm and moved back to the village.

For the past few years Mrs. Rose had been in poor health, but continued about her home until last Saturday, when her condition became serious.

She is survived by her husband, two daughters, Elva at home, and Mrs. Loren (Pearl) Axelsen of Marshfield; three grandchildren, Pearl Rose and Bony Mae Washburn, and Dennis Axelsen, all of Marshfield.
