William Sedlack is on the circuit court jury now in session at Wausau.

Mrs. Adeline Imhuff returned to Colby last week and will spend the summer here.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank H. Goeltz are visiting relatives in Pennsylvania and New York.

Mrs. Frank Dins and children of Chicago, Ill., are visiting this week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Kraus.

Pvt. Harold Goelden of Ft. Knox, Ky., spent the week-end with his wife and the R. H. Markus family.

Frank J. Bauer of Los Angeles, Calif., is spending this week with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William A. Bauer.

Miss Barbara Bender, attending Stout Institute at Menomonie is at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Bender, for the summer vacation.

Paul Umhoefer, Jr., a student at Holy Cross Seminary at La Crosse, arrived home to spend the summer with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Umhoefer.

Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Zillmann, daughters, Julie Ann and Cathie, and son, Ricky, of Baldwin spent Memorial Day with the former’s mother, Mrs. Ed Zillmann.

Mrs. Mary Pokallus returned from Dayton, Ohio, after spending three weeks at the home of her nephew and niece, Lt. Com. and Mrs. Ralph Zettel, and family.

Mrs. S. E. Zavala and children, David and Valerie, of Chicago, Ill., arrived Tuesday for a visit of several weeks at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Kraus.

Gordon Mellenthin is the new salesman at the A. F. Zillmer store taking the place of John Kern who left for Mapleton, Minn., where he is manager of a variety store.

Mrs. Louis Young returned to her home here after spending a week in Marshfield with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. John Hederer, and at the James Rasmussen home.

Mr. and Mrs. A. Holtzhausen, daughter, Shirley, and son, David, of Abbotsford and the former’s father, Carl Holtzhausen of Colby, spent several days at Madison with Mr. and Mrs. Spencer Wallace.

Mr. and Mrs. O. J. Dix returned home after spending two weeks in Milwaukee and Brookfield. At Brookfield, they attended the confirmation and graduation from the eighth grade of their grand son.

Harold Hastreiter and five children of Pulaski, N.Y., and the former’s mother, Mrs. Rose Hastreiter of Marshfield, visited several days with the latter’s son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Don Hastreiter. From here, they all went to Pulaski.

Dennis Witte and Stuart Hunt, who had been attending college at Stevens Point, are home for the summer. Paul Dins, attending U of W Extension School at Wausau, will return home Friday for the summer. Don Schulz will graduate from medical school at Madison June 15.

Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Steinwagner and Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Steinwagner of Marshfield attended Memorial Day exercises at Colby and were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Fred H. Bruesewitz. Mrs. Joseph Steinwagner, the former Adeline Miller, is a former Colby girl.

Mr. and Mrs. LaMonte Dulmes of Adell spent last week Tuesday and Wednesday at the Hugo Brehm home. Other dinner guests at the Brehm home on Memorial Day were Mr. and Mrs. R. Johnson and daughter, Marsha, Ruth of Wausau and Mr. and Mrs. Ray Marsh of Colby, Wis.
