Krause, Ella (Marriage - 20 Oct. 1915)

On Oct. 20th, Wednesday afternoon, at 2 o’clock Franklin Marquardt, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ferd. Marquardt of the town of Green Grove, and Miss Ella Krause, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Krause of Milan, were united in marriage at the Lutheran church at Milan, Rev. Aug. G. Sommer of Frederic officiating. Emma Kohler, a cousin of the bride, was maid of honor, Evelyn Kobs and Anna Schupsky were bridesmaids, and Bennie Marquardt and Walter Kaller attended the groom. The bride wore a white messeline dress trimmed with silk lace. She wore a bridal veil with a natural myrtle wreath.

After the ceremony a reception was given at the home of the bride’s parents, where many relatives and friends of the couple assembled.

Guests from Chicago, Sheboygan, Peshtigo, Greenwood, Abbotsford, Curtiss and other places attended the wedding.

Mr. and Mrs. Marquardt will make their temporary home with the bride’s parents at Milan. In the spring they intend to move to Hamburg, Wis., where Mr. Marquardt is erecting a cheese factory.
