Obetka, Mary (20 JAN 1942)

Miss Mary Obetka, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Obetka, Pittsville, became the bride of Willis Perkins, son of Mr. and Mrs. Homer Perkins, Loyal, at the Trinity Lutheran parsonage, Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock. The Rev. J. C. Langholz officiated. Attendants of the bridal couple were the groom’s brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Otto Mundt, of Loyal. Mrs. Mundt served as bridesmaid and Mr. Mundt was best man.

The bride’s dress was of navy blue. A bolero jacket trimmed with silver buttons was worn over a blouse of navy blue dotted with white.

The groom, who has served in the U.S. Army and expects soon to be recalled, wore his uniform.

Following the service, a wedding supper was served at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Mundt.

The groom is employed at the Marshfield box factory. Mr. and Mrs. Perkins will live in Marshfield until he is called back to the service of his country.

The Tribune joins their many friends in wishing Mr. and Mrs. Perkins a long and happy wedded life.
