They farmed in this vicinity a few years, and then moved to Rice Lake, where Mr. Prock, in a shop of his own, made staves for beer barrels. Shortly after the First World War Mr. Prock suffered a slight stroke and he and his wife went to live with their son, the Rev. Fr. M. A. Prock, then serving in Merrill. At the time of Mr. Prock’s death, they were living with Fr. Prock at Farmington, Minn.

Mr. Prock is survived by his wife, three sons and four daughters. The children are: Clare, R.N. of Chicago; Sister Fabiola of Rhinelander; Ann of Farmington, Minn.; Rev. Father M. A. Prock, also of Farmington; Frank of Rice Lake; Mrs. Fred Thome of Spring Valley and Martin J., an Eau Claire funeral director.
