Frederick J. Krembs

WILLARD -- Frederick John Krembs, 73, of Binghamton, N.Y., died Monday, May 12, 2008, at Wilson Memorial Hospital in Johnson City, N.Y., after a long illness.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Holy Family Catholic Church in Willard. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Monday at the church.

Cuddie Funeral Home of Greenwood is assisting the family with arrangements.

Frederick was born May 15, 1934, in Stevens Point to Ferdinand and Mildred (Bard) Krembs. He served in the U.S. Navy for four years prior to attending college. He was united in marriage to Adeline M. Lesar on Aug. 29, 1959, in Holy Family Catholic Church in Willard. In 1962, Fred began employment with IBM in Rochester, Minn., transferred to Huntsville, Ala., then to Binghamton, N.Y., and retired from IBM in 1990.

He is survived by his wife, Adeline of Binghamton, N.Y.; children, Susan (Hugh) Gardner, Arlington, Va., Mary (Wes) Wieser, Centerton, Ark., Kathleen (Gary) Kaminski, Glastonbury, Conn., Thomas (Chieko) Krembs, Nagoya, Japan; nine grandchildren; and his sister, Joanne Krembs, Stevens Point.
