Henry Naedler named supervisor of Second
Henry J. Naedler had been appointed by Mayor Victor Anderson to become supervisor for the Second Ward of Neillsville. The appointment was announced at the city council Tuesday evening, and was promptly confirmed. In announcing the appointment the Mayor indicated that the presence of Mr. Naedler on the board will be helpful in postwar actives. He was referring to the fact that Mr. Naedler, in addition to becoming supervisor, is head of the local post of the American Legion.
The appointment of Mr. Naedler was evidently intended to be gracious gesture by the Mayor, as the two were rival candidates at the election last spring. In similar friendly fashion Albert Marg had a few weeks previously secured the appointment of Leland Bandelow, as supervisor of the Fourth Ward, where the two men had been rival candidates in the spring.
