Eaton Center - by Mrs. Stella M. Roehl

Lynn Kocher and sister, Cora, have returned to their home in Marshfield, after having helped Mrs. Voight with her work.

Born to Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Rohde a son. They have named him Allen Lee.

The friends of Mrs. Harold Prock were sorry to hear of her accident. Pearl used to live in this neighborhood and has many friends in our vicinity. We hope she has a speedy recovery.

Ella Kocher of Marshfield came to stay at the Voight home for several days.

Mrs. Bert Catlin of Loyal called on Mrs. Otto Roehl the first of the week

Jerry Denk and Dale Horn bought some hay from Marshall Young of Greenwood and have been busy hauling it home.

The 4-H club held its meeting at the town of hall Monday evening.

We understand that Mrs. Arleigh Syth has accepted a position as teacher for the Christopherson School and the Syth family will move to Greenwood and occupy the house Dr. Giswold lived in. Mr. and Mrs. Ewald Schwarze have rented the Syth farm.

Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Smith called on Mr. and Mrs. John Jacobi, near Neillsville, one evening this week.

Mrs. Jule Voight and Miss Ella Kocher spent Thursday at Marshfield with Mr. Voight.

We were sorry to hear of Mrs. Lottie Brown passing on. Lottie will be greatly missed by her loved ones and friends.

Walter Nichols and Dale Horn helped the Roehls with their haying Saturday afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. Otto Roehl called at the Bob Harvey home in Neillsville Sunday, where they got Mrs. Adele Zuege and then drove out to Hatfield and spent the afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. Hardwick of Humbird and Mrs. Grube and daughter were afternoon callers at Roehl’s Friday.
