Krainz, Antonia (Marriage - 1944)

Antonia Krainz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anton Krainz of Willard, became the bride of John Kaltinger, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. John Kaltinger, Sr., of Willard Saturday morning. The double ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. Fr. Raphael Stragisher.

Immediate relatives to the young couple attended the ceremony in a church decorated with bouquets o pink and white asters and pink and white gladioli. The bride was given in marriage by her father.

She wore a princess style dress of rayon marquisette, styled with a sweetheart neckline, a shirred lace bodice and lace horizontal insertions in the skirt. A finger tip veil was held in place by a crown of tiny seed pearls.

The bride’s maid of honor, Mrs. Helen Krainz, wore a dress of blue net and taffeta, with a matching net Dutch hat. She carried pink gladioli and white asters.

Valentine Krainz, brother of the bride, acted as best man.

A wedding reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents. The home was decorated with blue and white streamers and bouquets of mixed flowers. Reception music was furnished by Mrs. Ivan Ruzic, who played a wedding march, "O Lord, I Am Not Worthy," and "Ave Maria."

Mrs. Kaltinger has been employed in Milwaukee, and plans to return to her work there. The groom ia carpenters mate, first class, in the United States Navy. He recently returned from 24 months of duty in the Southwest Pacific. He is to report for reassignment at San Diego, Cal. The bride will accompany her husband to California before returning to Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Among the out of town guests present for the wedding ceremony were: Mrs. Mary Fletcher and children, sister of the broom, Chicago; Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Mikottis and children, Chicago; and Misses Ann and Margaret Volovsek, of Milwaukee, friends of the couple.
