Wilkens, Theora (Marriage - 26 Mar. 1945)
The marriage of Theora Wilkens, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Wilkens, 155 St. Lawrence Ave., Beloit, formerly of Granton, and Cpl. Edward Quackenbush of Beloit, took place at 3:30 p.m. on Monday, March 26, at Fort Jackson, S.C., where the groom is stationed.
The bride wore a white street length jersey dress and had black accessories. Her flowers were a shoulder corsage of red carnations. She is a graduate of the Granton high school, and since her graduation has been employed at a beauty shop in Beloit.
Cpl. and Mrs. Quackenbush are residing at 1608 Bull St., Columbia, S.C.
