Mileaway Dance Pavilion located one mile north of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.) on Highway 73, will hold its opening dance of the season on Sunday evening, May 5th, manager Leon Pawlak informs his public in an advertisement in this issue of the "Courier."
The pavilion has undergone an immense change during the past few weeks. It has been given a general overhauling, including a new roof. New greystone siding on the exterior improves the appearance of the building 100 per cent and makes it warmer and more cozy. A new lunch counter has also been added and other interior changes made. The place of amusement will henceforth be known as the "Mileaway Ball Room". Don’t miss the opening.
