Janisewski, Marion (18 SEP 1945)

Cpl. Orville Asselin, son of Mr. and Mrs. Layton Asselin of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), and Miss Marion Janisewski, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Janisewski of Stanley, were united in marriage by Father Pollack at St. Mary’s Parsonage at Stanley in a four o’clock ceremony Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 18, 1945.

The couple was attended by Lester Janisewski and Lorraine Janisewski, who was attired in a rose colored dress with black accessories.

The bride chose a powder blue suit with black accessories for her wedding, and wore a corsage of baby pink roses. The groom was attired in his army uniform and his attendant in brown.

A wedding dinner and reception were held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Janisewski at Stanley, attended by relatives of the happy couple.

Their many friends of Thorp join in extending best wishes for a long and happy wedded life.
