Cherokee - June 12, 1913

Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Stewart spent Sunday at March.

The Equity shipped 3 cars of stock Tuesday morning.

Mr. Chas. Vincent of Seattle, Wash. is visiting at the Straub home.

Mrs. Wm. Lussenden came up from Spencer, Tuesday, to attend the picnic.

Mr. and Mrs. Harry Demand spent Sunday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. Fred Fricke.

Richard and Isaac Joles who are camping at Corinth, visited their parents, last Saturday.

Owen, Nellie and Emma Joles and Richard Worth drove up to Corinth, Sunday, and spent the day with relatives.

Owen Joles left Monday morning for LaCrosse. He intends to work in the bottling department of Gunds’ Brewery.

The Equity held a business meeting at the Town Hall, Saturday evening. Eleven delegates were elected to attend the County Convention at Edgar Saturday, June 14th.

The Equity picnic held in Cherokee park, Tuesday, was well attended. A large number of Town of Colby members were present. Mr. Councilman of Cumberland, addressed the meeting in a very pleasing manner, which was greatly enjoyed by all who heard him.
