Schlonga, Charlotte (Marriage - 29 Jan. 1944)

Jeanette Lippert, who once taught the Shortville School, is the mother of a grown daughter who was married January 29 at Sunnyside, Washington. The mother is the daughter of George Lippert, who was for many years with the old Lowe Meat Market in Neillsville. The daughter Jeanette is now Mrs. Walter Schlonga, residing at Sunnyside, and it was the Schlongas’ daughter Charlotte L. whose wedding took place.

Charlotte is a graduate of the state college of Washington and of St. Luke’s school of medical technology of Spokane. Before her marriage she was laboratory technician at St. Elizabeth’s hospital in Yakima. The groom is T/Sgt. David H. Jenkins of Everett, Washington, who is a specialist in psychology, being now assigned to psychological research at Santa Anna, California, where the young couple will make their home.
