Danielson, David (9 Dec. 1867 - 15 April 1944)

David Danielson, 76, passed away Saturday, April 15, at the Neillsville Hospital, where he had been a patient for the past two weeks. He suffered a stroke three weeks ago.

David Danielson was born in Farsond, Norway on December 9, 1867. He was married to Miss Maria Person, February 25, 1893 in Chicago, where they lived until 1906, when they moved to Greenwood.

Mr. and Mrs. Danielson celebrated their golden wedding anniversary at their farm home, northeast of Greenwood February 25, 1943.

Mr. Danielson, a member of the Trondhjem Lutheran Church, was a carpenter and farmer and served as a school board director.

He is survived by his wife, three sons and one daughter Peder of Marengo, Ill.; David of Loyal; Arendt at home; and Mrs. Chris (Hanna) Stenswold of Clear Lake and ten grandchildren.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday afternoon, April 18, at the Danielson home and at the Trondhjem Lutheran Church. Interment was made in the Greenwood Cemetery. The Rev. M. K. Aaberg, will officiate.

Funeral services for David A. Danielson, 76, who passed away at the Neillsville Hospital Saturday, April 15, were held April 18, at the Danielson home northeast of Greenwood, and at the Trondhjem Lutheran Church. The Rev. M. K. Aaberg officiated. Interment was made in the Greenwood Cemetery.

Mrs. Ervin Elmer and Mrs. Daniel Olson sang, accompanied by Mrs. M. K. Aaberg.

The pallbearers were: Adolph Turnqnist, Carl Nelson, William Rossow, Oliver Hendrickson, P. M. Johnson and Henry Olson.

Flowers were carried by Mrs. Lucille Oswald, Mrs. Harold Haupt, Mrs. Arthur Wehrman and Miss Edna Elmer.

Out of town people who attended the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Peter Danielson and sons Merly and Bernard and daughters Florence and Mrs. John (Arlene) Mattingly, all of Marengo, Ill., Mr. and Mrs. Christ Stenswold of Clear Lakes; and Mr. and Mrs. Irving Iverson of Chicago.
