Stoneburg, Louise L. #2 (21 AUG 1912 - 22 MAR 2008)

Louise L. Stoneburg, 95, Marshfield, Wisconsin, died on Saturday, March 22, 2008, at the Marshfield Care Clinic.

Memorial services were held at 10:30 a.m. on March 27, at the United Methodist Church, Spencer. Linda Roder was the organist along with the congregational singing. The Rev. Mara Pehkonen officiated. Burial was in Hillside Cemetery, Marshfield.

Louise was born on Aug. 21, 1912, in Clark County to John and Anna (nee Faber) Hefty.

She and Ervin R. Stoneburg were united in marriage on Feb. 25, 1931, in Neillsville. He died on Aug. 27, 1981. They lived in Greenwood before moving to the town of Spencer where they farmed. They farmed until 1966 when they moved to Marshfield. When she moved to Marshfield, she worked at Central Cheese and then retired.

Survivors include her daughter, Lilas (Glen) Kleinschmidt, Chili; one grandson, James (Sue) Kleinschmidt, Spencer; and two great-grandsons, Jesse (fiancé Lori Behm) Kleinschmidt, and Timothy Kleinschmidt. She is further survived by a sister Mildred Wundrow, Marshfield.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, a granddaughter, Mary Kleinschmidt; and two sisters, Irene and Eleanor Hefty.

Rembs Funeral Home, Marshfield, assisted the family with the arrangements.
