Thelma D. Mashin

NEILLSVILLE -- Thelma Mashin, 93, of Neillsville, died Tuesday, April 15, 2008, at the Memorial Medical Center in Neillsville.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, April 25, 2008, at the Gesche Funeral Home in Neillsville. Inurnment will be in the Neillsville City Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time April 25 at the funeral home.

Thelma Dorthea Mashin was born Sept. 12, 1914, in the town of Grant, Clark County, the daughter of Warren and Helen (Luck) Hake. She was united in marriage to Albert Mashin on Sept. 16, 1936, in Neillsville. They farmed for one year north of Neillsville. Then they moved to Neillsville and operated a bottled milk business for many years, delivering to businesses and door-to-door. When that business sold, Thelma worked at the Farmer's Store for many years.

Thelma is survived by two children, Joyce (Terry) Becker of Neillsville and DeWayne (Jane) Mashin of Tomah; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
