The land to build the Forman school house was provided by Ed Hatch., who settled
on the farm now occupied by the Wilmer Lueck family. One of the first teachers
was Olivia (West) Forman, who taught in the year 1884. Some of the other
teachers included Bertha Hallick, Claude Mills, Bessie Redmond, Bessie Redden,
Latelle Cook, Clara Free, Marie Potter, Marie Swan, Bessie Beeckler, Nellie
Baker, Bertha Bigley, Mabel Snyder, Marie Woellfer, Marjorie Hawley, Bethel
Newel, Pauline Iviedicke, Cecelia Nenallo, and Ruth Siscko. The Turman school
was closed in 1957 when the district was divided between the Loyal and
Heals-villa school districts.
