Sturner, Mrs. (Lapp) (November 6, 1895 - August 12, 1930)

Mrs E. Sturner Died at Madison Hospital

A happy little family circle was broken and three children were deprived of that immeasurable blessing, a mother’s love when grim death breathed sorrow into the household of Emil G. Sturner at Lowell. The young wife and mother fell into the final sleep at the age of 35 years.

Mrs. Struner had been in poor health for a long period of time. She was removed to Madison Methodist Hospital, but all that loving car and attention could do for her proved futile. The hour of dissolution Tuesday, August 12, crated untold grief in the little family circle and was the cause for keep regret among a host of friends. The people at the community in which she lived since 1915 extend heartfelt sympathy to those who are bereaved.

Mrs. Emil Sturner was born November 6, 1895, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Lapp at Curtiss, Wis. She was educated n the common schools of her neighborhood and at Medford High School, from which school she graduated in 1914. Her marriage to Emil G. Sturner, well known Lowell business man, occurred September 30, 1915.

Besides her husband and children, Mr. Sturner is survived by her mother Mr. Bertha Lapp; two sister, Vera and Verna Lapp and one brother Wallace, Lapp, all of Curtiss.

Mrs. Surner was a young woman of refined temperament, cultured and accomplished and possessed of a personal charm and winsome nature that endeared her to all her friends. She was a member of the Lowell Reformed church and took an active part as a member of the Constant Workers.

Burial took place Thursday afternoon in the Lowell Public Cemetery following funeral services at the residence and at the Lowell Reformed church. The Rev. Edmund L. Henning officiated.
