Miss Lorain K. Ritschen, daughter of Mrs. Anna Ritschen, Lake City, Minn., became the bride of Ted F. Nowak, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Nowak of Plainfield, at a ceremony performed Saturday, Nov. 8, 1941 at 8 o’clock in St. Paul’s Church at Plainfield, with the Rev. Peter Banka officiating.

Mr. and Mrs. Ernest H. Ritschen were the couple’s only attendants.

The bride was attired in a pastel blue suit with hat to match, while her attendant wore a gold colored dress with brown accessories. Both wore shoulder corsages.

Mr. Nowak and his bride left on a few days trip to Chicago and points west, and on their return will make their home at Loyal, where he is employed as bookkeeper for the Braun Auto Co.

The bride is a graduate of the Lake City, Minn., High School and has been employed in that city the past two years.

The groom graduated from the Plainfield High School and came to Loyal three years ago from Tomah where he held a position as bookkeeper in the Ford garage.

The Tribune joins the many friends of Ted in extending Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Nowak.
