Hoppen, Hulda (Marriage - 26 Nov. 1910)

Earl Kyle and Miss Hulda Hoppen, both well known young people of this city (Colby, Clark County, Wis.), were married at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Hoppen, at 5 o’clock last Saturday evening, by Justice Frank Firnstahl. The bride was attended by Miss Arabella Betlach of Stevens Point, and the groom by George Hoppen, brother of the bride. After a wedding supper the young couple took the seven o’clock train, in a terrific storm of rice, for a short wedding trip.

Earl was born and brought up in the town of Frankfort, and has only been a resident of the city about two years. He is at present proprietor of the Colby House, and a gentleman in every sense of the word.

Miss Hulda has been the phonist at the Colby Telephone central for several years and is well and favorably known to all our citizens, and to many on the long distance and rural lines. She will remain at central during the winter. In the Spring they will take Horace Greeley’s advice and "go west."

The Phonograph joins their many friends in well wishes for their future.
