Neuman, Clara (24 Dec. 1888 - 20 Jan. 1975)

Spencer, Wis. - Mrs. Clara Neuman, 86, of Spencer, died this morning at the Colonial House of Colby, Wis.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church here with the Rev. William H. Ruhbusch, pastor, officiating.

Friends may call at the Rux Funeral Home, Spencer, beginning at 2 p.m. Tuesday.

The former Clara Naatz was born Dec. 24, 1888, in Milwaukee, and was married in May of 1907 to Frank W. Neuman, who preceded her in death. They farmed in the Spencer area until 1928, when they moved to the village of Spencer.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and its Ladies Aid and a former member of the church guild.

Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Darel (Frances) Griepentrog, Mrs. Earl (Bertha) Cramer and Mrs. Walter (Anna) Luepke, all of Spencer, and Mrs. William (Erna) Beier, Milwaukee; a brother, Emil Naatz, Denver, Colo.; a sister, Mrs. George (Linda) Oelrich, route 1, Spencer, 10 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death, in addition to her husband, were two sisters, a brother and a son.
