Fink, Helen (Marriage - 4 June 1930)

A very quiet but beautiful wedding took place at the Carl Fink home Wednesday afternoon, June 4, 1930, when their daughter Helen Fink became the bride of Forrest Stowe, son of Mr. and Mrs. Geo Stowe of Unity. The ceremony was performed at one o’clock by Rev. J. Brandt of Dorchester, Wis.

The bride was dressed in a gown of white georgette with lace and a rhinestone wreath and veil, and carried a bouquet of roses and ferns.

Miss Mable Fink, a cousin of the bride, acted as bridesmaid and Miss Mabel Stowe, sister of the groom, was maid of honor. Miss Fink wore violet colored georgette and Miss Stowe wore blue flat crepe. Both wore rhinestone head bands and carried bouquets of roses and ferns.

The groom was attended by his brother, Owen Stowe and Raymond Fink, a cousin of the bride. They all wore navy blue. Goldien Fink, sister of the bride, was flower girl. She wore old rose voile and carried a basket of roses and ferns.

After the ceremony the young couple motored to Marshfield where they had their pictures taken. At five o’clock supper was served to a few relatives.

Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Stowe and family of Unity, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Fink and family of Colby, Mr. and Mrs. Christ Fink and daughter Lucille, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Kauffman and family, Rev. Brandt and family of Dorchester and Mrs. Christ Prange.

The evening was spent in playing cards and games.
