Hainzlsperger, Viola Mary (Marriage - 6 Sept. 1954)

The Rev. Vincent Schwartz officiated at the Nuptial High Mass Monday morning, Sept. 6 in St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Colby, prior to which Miss Viola Mary Hainzlsperger became the bride of Keith LeRoy Kenyon.

Parents of the bridal pair are Mr. and Mrs. John Hainzlsperger, route 1, Unity and Mr. and Mrs. Edward Kenyon, route 1, Loyal.

Mrs. Delbert Morrow, Unity, was matron of honor for her sister. For the occasion she wore a blue taffeta frock trimmed with matching lace. Tied to her wrist was a corsage of yellow roses.

Miss Shirley Kleinschmidt, Loyal, a niece of the groom, in gold satin with matching lace trim, was bridesmaid. Pink roses tied with orchid ribbon formed her wrist corsage. A similar corsage was worn by the other bridesmaid, Mrs. John Hainzlsperger, Milwaukee, a sister-in-law of the bride, who wore dusty rose nylon net over taffeta.

Best man was Delbert Morrow, Unity, and groomsmen were Delbert Kleinschmidt, Loyal, a nephew of the groom and John Hainzlsperger, Unity, a brother of the bride, and Verland Schneider, Colby, her nephew.

A gown of white lace and nylon net was worn by the bride. Her finger-tip veil was held in place with a lace cap and tiara. The bridal bouquet consisted of pink carnations and yellow and white pompoms surrounded by white gladioli.

St. Mary’s gymnasium, Colby, was the scene for the reception, breakfast, luncheon and supper.

The newlyweds are at home on the groom’s farm, route 1, Loyal. He is also employed by the Streckert Lumber Co., Abbotsford, Wis.

The Register joins their many local friends in extending congratulations and best wishes for a long and happy wedded life.
