Leffel, Mary Ann (16 Oct. 1884 - 6 Sept. 1953)

Services were held at 2 P.M. Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church with Rev. Claude Vander Stoep officiating, for Mrs. Herman Leffel, 68, who passed away at 7 P.M. Saturday at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield.

Mrs. Leffel had been ill for some time with a heart ailment.

The body reposed at the Lulloff Funeral Home unti 11 A.M. Wednesday when it was taken to the church. Burial was made in the March Rapids cemetery.

A native of Germany, Mrs. Leffel, nee Mary Ann Splitgerber, was born October 16, 1884. She came to the United States at the age of 7, and had lived here the past 23 years.

She was married to Herman Leffel May 21, 1929. He survives her.

The following stepchildren also survive: Mrs. Steve (Elsie) Bezak, Unity; Mrs. Ray (Beatrice) Golimoski, and Melvin, Milwaukee; Charles Wentworth; and Daniel and Norman, Cloverland. Other survivors are 13 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and one brother.

Four sisters and three brothers preceded her in death.
