Seefeldt, Otto August (21 July 1871 - 26 May 1952)

Otto August Seefeldt, 80, passed away at his home in Unity, Wisconsin Monday, May 26, at 5 A.M. He had been in poor health for some time.

The body reposed at the Swarthout Funeral Home in Spencer where funeral services were held Wednesday, May 28 at 2 P.M. with the Rev. O. J. Hoffman, Colby, officiating. Burial was made in the West Spencer cemetery.

Mr. Seefeldt was born July 21, 1871 at Pine Ridge in Dodge County. He operated a farm northwest of Spencer before he retired and moved to Unity six years ago.

Surviving besides his wife are a son, Edwin Seefeldt of Chili; and six daughters, Mrs. Cordelia Smith, Santa Monica, Calif.; Mrs. Charles Mueller, Chili; Mrs. Adolph Wein, Milwaukee; Mrs. Melvin Pelikan, Burbank, Calif.; Mrs. Carl Nelson, Milwaukee and Mrs. Elwood Diethman, Unity.

Also surviving are a brother, Frank Seefeldt, Sheboygan; and three sisters, Mrs. Hulda Dedchelt, Mrs. Ida Baker, and Mrs. Martha Schwantes, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. There are also 20 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
