Hudson, Alma (24 Mar. 1894 - 30 Mar. 1952)

Mrs. Alma Hudson, 58, died of a heart attack at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, at about 10 P.M. Sunday. She had been a patient there since Thursday.

Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2 P.M. at the Zion Lutheran Church, Colby, with the Rev. O. Hoffman officiating. Burial was made in the Colby (Colby, Clark Co. Wis.) Cemetery. The body reposed at the Lulloff Funeral Home, Colby, until the time of services.

Mrs. Hudson, nee Kops, was born in the Town of Colby, March 24, 1894. She received her education at the German Lutheran School at Colby and had resided in Unity since she was 15 years of age.

Her marriage to William R. Hudson took place June 23, 1919. Mr. Hudson passed away in April, 1944.

She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Nancy Kops, Unity; three daughters, Mrs. Mollen (Dorothy) Talcott, Mrs. Harold (Margery) Runge, and Mrs. Lawrence (Geraldine) Jeske, all of Unity; one son, Harold, also of Unity; and seven grandchildren.

Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Elsie Willmare, Lisle, Ill.; and Mrs. Art Kurth, Wisconsin Rapids, and three brothers, Lester Kops, Unity; Herman, Colby; and Norman, Chicago. One son, one sister, and two brothers preceded her in death.

Funeral services were held last Wednesday afternoon at Zion Lutheran Church, Colby, Wisconsin, for Mrs. Alma Hudson, 58, who died March 30. The Rev. Otto Hoffman officiated and burial was in the Colby (Colby, Clark Co. Wis.) Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Edward Mews, Harold Yost, Stewart Salter, Forrest Johnson, Earl Ringquist and John W. Johnson.

Flowers were carried by Mrs. Forrest Johnson, Miss Amy Klein, Mrs. John Johnson, Mrs. Earl Ringquist, Mrs. Stewart Salter, and Mrs. Harold Yost, members of the American Legion Auxiliary.
