Hopff, Fred (Oct 1830 - 25 Apr. 1903)

Fred Hopff, who was a city charge at the Clark Co. Poor Farm, died at that place on April 25th, 1903 and was buried Tuesday April 28th.

Fred Hopf of the town of Colby, Wisconsin who was an inmate of the poor house, left that institution about five weeks ago thinking he could find a better location. After beating about for nearly a month he got back last week, satisfied that his care and keeping were better in Mr. Ebbe’s hands that in any others’ he could find.
