Wolek, Frank (14 JAN 1920 - 23 APR 1943)

Private Frank Wolek, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bart Wolek of the town of Taft (Taylor Co., Wis.), was killed in action wit the American Forces in North Africa on April 23, 1943.

Frank was inducted in November 1941, and in June 1942 was shipped to England, then to Africa.

He was born on Jan. 14, 1920 in the Town of Taft, where he grew to manhood upon the farm of his parents. Her served in 1937 in the CCC camp.

Relatives who mourn his passing are his parents, Mrs. and Mrs. Bart Wolek, one brother, Anton of Thorp, and two sisters, Victoria Kensella, and Rose of Chicago.
