Ernestine Kranert (23 Jan 1840 - 23 Feb 1930)

Dorchester, Feb. 27, 1930 - Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at St. Peter's
Lutheran church for Mrs. Ernestine Kranert, 90, who died Sunday at the home of relatives
at Curtiss. Burial was made in the village (Dorchester Memorial) cemetery. The Rev. J.
Brandt was in charge of the services.

Mrs. Kranert, whose maiden name was Ernestine Rossberg was born Jan. 23, 1840 in Dresden,
Saxony, and was married in Germany. Since the death of her husband she has lived with her
grandchildren at Wausau and Curtiss. They are Mrs. William Blaeske at the former place
and R. Dake and Mrs. J. Johnson, Curtiss. She also leaves 14 great-grandchildren.

Those present for the funeral from out-of-town were Mr. and Mrs. Blaeske and three
children, and Mrs. Johnson.
