Brandner, Harvey L. (29 DEC 1934 - 16 MAR 2013)

Harvey L. Brandner, 78, Medford, died on Saturday, March 16 at Ministry St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 20 at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Whittlesey, with Father Gerard Willger and Deacon Joe Stefancin officiating.

Interment will be at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cemetery in Whittlesey. Active pallbearers are his grandchildren, Jeremy, Damon, Chris and Hunter Brandner, Jerry "Tiger" Ahrens Jr., Robin Pester, Wayne Schmeiser, Chance Meyer and Gavin Leonard. Honorary pallbearers were the rest of his grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at the church on Tuesday, March 19 from 4 to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. rosary service, and on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until the time of service.

Hemer Funeral Homes of Medford and Rib Lake assisted the family with arrangements.

He worked at the Medford Farmers Union Co-op, Brandner Oil Company & Weather Shield Mfg. in Medford for periods of time. They farmed in the Town of Medford for 11 years. He worked as a rural mail carrier for a period of time until his retirement. In retirement, he pumped gas at EZ Stop in Medford. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.
