Riverside - Aug. 4, 1910

Mr. and Mrs. Klease and children of Cherokee attended services at Riverside, Sunday.

The Ladies Aid will hold an ice cream social at the church, Friday evening, Aug. 12th.

C. E. meeting Tuesday evening, Aug. 9. Topic - "Christ Our Friend" Leader Arthur Merwin.

The Abbotsford Sunday School held their annual picnic at Riverside, Tuesday, there were over ? hundred in attendance.

Miss Barbara Steaety of Glidden, who has been visiting the Misses Anna and Alvina Schraufnagel, returned to her home Sunday.

Misses Myrtle Parkhill and Ethel Kurtz came home from Stevens Point, Friday, where they have been attending the Teachers’ summer school.

Mrs. R. E. Jones and Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Perkins of Oshkosh, who have been visiting their brother, H. C. Evans and family, returned to their homes last Saturday.

The Woodmen and Royal Neighbors of Colby, Unity, Abbotsford and Dorchester held a picnic here, this week Wednesday. There was a large crowd of them and they seemed to have a jolly good time.

Ernst Apfelbeck who resides with his parents in the town of Hull, fell from a gate, one day this week, fracturing and dislocating the elbow joint of his left arm. Dr. Jensen was called and reduced the dislocation and fracture.

The Ladies’ Aid met with Mrs. J. C. Martin of Abbotsford, last Wednesday afternoon. There were about fifty present and everyone had a good time. The next meeting will be held with Mrs. Will Mier, next Wednesday afternoon, Aug. 10th. Everyone invited.
