Cutts, Lena (6 Nov. 1864 - 18 Dec. 1951)

Mrs. Lena Cutts, a resident of Unity, Wisconsin from 1873 to 1949, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Nathan Cornell at Eau Claire, Tuesday morning, Dec. 18, at the age of 87 years. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the Methodist church, Rev. F. J. Smith officiating, and internment was made in the Brighton cemetery.

Mrs. Cutts, nee Heintz, was born on November 6, 1864, in Fond du Lac and came to Unity with her parents when 12 years of age. Her marriage to William Arthur Cutts took place at Unity on December 11, 1894. She was a member of the Lady Grey Rebekah Lodge. Two years ago, she moved to Eau Claire to live with her daughter.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Carnell of Eau Claire and Mrs. F. J. McIntyre of Los Angeles, Calif., four sons, Rollo of Stocton, Calif., LaVern of Neillsville, Eldred of Madison and Adrian of Eau Claire; 10 grand children, 11 great grand children; three brothers, Otto Heintz and Max Heintz of Colby and Lewis Heintz of Armstrong Creek. Her husband, three sisters and a brother preceded her in death.
