Erickson, Josephine (3 Aug. 1866 - 7 Nov. 1951)

Funeral services for Mrs. Josephine Erickson, age 85, who died Wednesday at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Lueth, with whom she had been living since February, were held Friday afternoon at the Trinity Lutheran church in Unity, Wisconsin and burial was made in the parish cemetery. The body had been reposing at the Lulloff Funeral Home.

Mrs. Erickson, the former Josephine Lang, was born Aug. 3, 1866, in Finland. Her marriage took place there to Carl Erickson in 1887. Mr. Erickson came to America in 1891 and Mrs. Erickson came eight years later, in 1899. They lived on a farm about three miles west of Unity. Mr. Erickson died Dec. 24, 1939.

Mrs. Erickson is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Edward (Ellen) Lueth of Abbotsford and Mrs. Albert (Ina) Peterson of Unity, and nine grand children. A daughter preceded her in death.
