Jensen, Anna (4 JUL 1873 - 27 JUN 1943)

Funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon from the Danish Lutheran Church at Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), for Mrs. Anna Jensen, 70, wife of Chris Jensen, who died at the St. Joseph’s Hospital at Marshfield, Sunday, following a two weeks illness. Rev. Bundgaard, pastor of the church, officiated and burial took place in the Danish Church Cemetery.

She was born July 4th, 1873, in Denmark, and forty-eight years ago was untied in marriage to Chris Jensen. Most of these years they have lived on their farm one-half mile west of Owen.

She leaves to mourn, her husband and two sons, Einar of South Bend, Ind., and Viggo of Minneapolis, Minn., and two daughters, Mrs. Paul Nielsen and Mrs. Walter Savage, both of Minneapolis.

Those from away who came to attend the funeral were, Einar Jensen, South Bend, Ind., Viggo Jensen, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Nielsen and daughter, Fern, and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Savage and daughter, Anna Mae, of Minneapolis.
