Hein, Rose Monica (Marriage - 26 July 1950)

Rose Monica Hein, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry J. Hein, and Norbert Joseph Wolf, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Wolf, exchanged marriage vows at St. Mary’s Catholic church in Colby Wednesday morning, July 26th, Rev. N. B. Beschta reading the marriage ceremony. Mrs. Ambrose Jicinsky, the bride’s sister, was matron of honor and Miss Celia Wolf, sister of the groom, was bridesmaid. The groom was attended by Ambrose Jicinsky as best man and Dennis Hein, a brother of the bride. Gene Jicinsky, nephew of the bride, was ring bearer, and Donna LaSee, niece of the bride, was flower girl. The bride was given in marriage by her uncle, Phillip Hein, of Stratford.

The bride was attired in a gown made of English organdy and lace featuring a fitted bodice with a full skirt having insets of lace near the hem-line with an extended train. Her cascade bouquet consisted of roses and sweet peas. The matron of honor wore an orchid marquisette gown styled with fitted bodice and a hoop skirt, with a matching hat. Her bouquet consisted of yellow roses and white and yellow carnations centered with a lily. The bridesmaid wore a pale green marquisette gown styled similarly to that of the matron of honor, with a matching hat, and her bouquet was also similar.

A wedding dinner and supper was served 80 guests at St. Mary’s gymnasium and a reception was held at the home of the groom’s parents which was trimmed with orchid, green and white streamers. A dance was given at Walter’s pavilion in the evening. Music was furnished by Bob Wolf, cousin of the groom, and his orchestra of Hilbert, Wis.

Out of town guests were from Custer, Minn., Milwaukee, Granton, Loyal, Riplinger, Marshfield, Stratford and Tomah.

The couple left on a wedding trip to Northern Wisconsin and will be at home after August 7th at 718 N. Dinnieldie St., Arlington, Va., where the groom is employed by the federal government.
