Knowlton, Oscar (30 Oct. 1876 - 8 Nov. 1931)

Funeral services for Oscar Knowlton, 55, who died suddenly at his home Sunday, November 8th, will be held at the Colby undertaking parlors Friday afternoon at 1:00 o’clock the Rev. L. C. Smith of Abbotsford officiating, and burial will be at the Abbotsford cemetery.

Oscar Knowlton was born at Neshkoro, Wisconsin, October 30, 1876. Thirteen years ago he was married to Alice Smith at Owen, Wisconsin. They resided on a farm near Curtiss until a short time ago when they moved on the old Demand farm east of Abbotsford, Wis.

He is survived by his wife, three sons, Lester, Lawrence and Franklin, and one daughter, Mabel. He also has three sisters and two brothers living in Wisconsin.

*Transcriber note: His wife Alice is the daughter of Charles & Augusta Schmidt. Their last name is sometimes given as Smith.
