Colby, Wis. - Local Happenings in Colby and Vicinity Mar. 10, 1949

Mrs. Adolph Thieme returned from the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital.

Roger ? re-entered the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital for treatments.

Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Kendal and ? of Wausau visited at the Wm. Ebert home Sunday.

Miss Mary Beyerl of Milwaukee spent the week-end with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lester Wegner.

Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Kobb and daughter, Mary Ann, of Eau Claire visited at the Wm. C. Pacholke home Sunday.

Miss Doris Schoelzel of Sheboygan, Wisconsin spent the week-end with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph Schoelzel.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Tamborino and family of Edgar visited Friday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Tamborino.

Mrs. Otto Dins spent the week-end in Marshfield with her son in law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Krueger.

Mr. and Mrs. Brayton Whitney of Decorah, Iowa, visited a few days with the former’s brother and sister in law, Mr. and Mrs. C. R. Whitney.

The Misses Virginia Schjoneman and Grace Schafler of Milwaukee spent the week-end with the former’s mother, Mrs. Eleanor Kriplean.

Walter Runzheimer returned Saturday from Milwaukee where he attended an oil sales and co-operative products meeting at the Midland Co-operative Wholesale.

Wm. Cammers, Morris Mantor, Willard Becherer and Walter Runzheimer spent Tuesday at Wausau where they attended a Midland Co-operative district meeting.

Rev. and Mrs. Franz Paul Puhlmann will drive to the Mission House College at Plymouth, Wisconsin Friday and return with their foster son, Reinhard Ulrich, who will spend the week-end here.

Mr. and Mrs. Earl Butler spent Sunday at Badger with their son and daughter in law, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Butler. Their daughter, Mrs. Ruth Korntved, and family of Milwaukee also spent the day there.

Ray E. Miller, who had been visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest F. Miller, left Tuesday for San Francisco, Calif., for a visit with relatives and friends. He made the trip by plane. He is employed by *** Note: The remainder of this article was missing.
