Abramovich, Gustava (28 NOV 1942)

A very pretty wedding took place at St. Stanislaus Church at Lublin on the morning of Nov. 28th, 1942, when Father Jos. Rapala joined in the holy bonds of matrimony, Mr. Steve Franckiewicz, son of Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Franckiewicz of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), and Miss Gustava Abramovich, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alex Abramovich of Lublin. The ceremony was performed at ten o’clock.

The couple was attended by Pvt. Casimer Franckiewicz and Mary Juskiewicz, Alex Abramovich and Felicia Franckiewicz, who was dressed in aqua taffeta, with silver sandals. Her bouquet was of white astors and white and pink carnations. Miss Franckiewicz wore blue taffeta trimmed with pink.

The bride was beautifully attired in a gown of white satin with a sweetheart necklace and her long veil was held with a beaded crown. She carried a bouquet of white carnations, astors and chrysanthemums.

The maid of honor, Amelia Abramovich, was dressed in pink taffeta. She wore silver sandals and carried a bouquet of white asters and carnations.

After the ceremony a wedding reception was held at the Lublin Club Hall, attended by relatives and friends.

The happy couple will reside on the groom’s farm near Withee.

Out of town guests at the wedding were: Mrs. Frank Nelson and Nancy Ann of Chicago; Miss Florence Bunk, Mrs. Helen Hecht and Mr. Edward Lisnik, all of So. St. Paul; Casimer Franckiewicz of New York City, and Felicia Franckiewicz of Stevens Point, Wis.
