Klugiewicz, Mary Ann (18 JAN 1941 - 20 JAN 1942)

Mary Ann Klugiewicz, year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anton Klugiewicz of Stanley, died Tuesday, Jan. 20, 1942, in a Milwaukee hospital after an illness of only a few hours of convulsions. The child had gone to Milwaukee with her mother a few days before her death, to visit her brother, John, who had enlisted in the Navy. While playing Tuesday the child was suddenly stricken with her fatal illness. She was born in Stanley, Jan. 18, 1941. The body was brought to Stanley where the funeral was held Friday from St. Mary’s Church, the Rev. Sobieski officiating. Interment was in the Posen Cemetery east of Thorp. Surviving are the parents, two sisters and three brothers.
