Curtiss, Wis. - Sept. 8, 1955

The Ladies’ Aid of St. Paul’s Lutheran church will meet on September 14 with Mrs. Geo. Lindau.

Miss Bernice Fahrenbach of St. Paul spent the Labor Day week-end with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Fahrenbach.

Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Geary and daughter, Dorothy, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Geary and Mrs. Clifford Nenzel and daughter spent the Labor Day week-end at a resort near Phillips.

Miss Pearl Thieme, who spent the past summer with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Art Thieme, left Monday for Delavan to attend school.

Mrs. Jas. Skinner of Bloomington spent the Labor Day week-end with her son, Wayne Olson, and family.

Mr. and Mrs. Homer Wardwell and children of La Crosse spent the week-end with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. M. Erickson.

Guests of Mrs. Anne Tonn over the week-end were her sister, Miss Gertie Schultz of Milwaukee and her nephew and niece, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Reda of La Crosse.

Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Stockmeyer of La Crosse, accompanied by their daughter, Nancy, who had been visiting here, returned home Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Louis Schroeder of Appleton and her sister, Mrs. Rosa Glenzer, and sons of Rib Lake, all former residents of Curtiss, called on friends here over the week-end.

Mr. and Mrs. Lee Jensen and the latter’s mother, Mrs. Patitz, spent the week-end with relatives at Glidden.
