Curtiss, Wis. - Sept. 1, 1955

Holway defeated Curtiss by a score of four to two in a ball game here Sunday afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. Arne Harris and family visited Sunday with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Harris, at Waupaca.

Mr. and Mrs. Paul Konik and daughter enjoyed a week’s outing at Johnson Lake, a resort in Northern Wisconsin.

Mrs. Anna C. Peterson left Thursday for Foster, Oregon, being called there by the illness of a sister.

Mr. and Mrs. Orlyn Wanke and sons of Milwaukee are spending this week with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Hennlich, and Mr. and Mrs. John Wanke of Abbotsford, Wis.

Miss Alma Thompson of Milwaukee visited last week with her brother, Alfred Thompson, and family.

Orville Laabs and son, Jim, Harold and Fritz Laabs attended the funeral of their nephew, Herman Laabs, Jr., at Springfield, *** Note: The remainder of this article was missing.
