Brunner, Raymond (10 Aug. 1915 - 6 June 1954)

Raymond Brunner, a former Abbotsford resident, died in a Milwaukee hospital as a result of a blood clot, Sunday morning at 4:00 o’clock at the age of 39 years. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon in the Christ Lutheran church, Rev. F. H. Sprengler officiating, and internment was made in the Abbotsford cemetery.

Mr. Brunner was born Aug. 10, 1915, in the town of Holton, where he lived most of his life. He received his education in the Abbotsford grade and high school. When he was two years old, he was stricken with infantile paralysis, which left him almost entirely disabled. For the past three years he had made his home in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He had never married.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bernitt of Abbotsford, Wis. His father, Charles Brunner, preceded him in death and a brother, Lyle Brunner, was killed in World War II.
