Mauritz, Edith G. (27 June 1873 - 5 June 1954)

Mrs. Louis Mauritz of Abbotsford, Wisconsin died Saturday evening at her home at the age of 81 years. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Salem Evangelical United Brethren church at Dorchester, of which she was a member, Rev. Harvey Welch officiating, and internment was made in the Dorchester cemetery. She also was a member of the Royal Neighbors of America.

Mrs. Mauritz, formerly Edith G. Reynolds, was born on June 27, 1873, in Monroe, where she received her education. On April 10, 1912, she married Louis Mauritz at Weyaywega. The couple resided in Abbotsford, Wis.

Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Gordon (Lila) Phaneuf of Abbotsford; a son, Miles Mauritz of Whittier, Calif.; a step son, Frank Pargee of El Monte, Calif.; a brother, C. M. Reynolds of Abbotsford; eight grand children; 11 great grand children. A son preceded her in death.
